Richard Milhouse Nixon ("Dick Nixon," "Tricky Dick") was the 37th President of the United States of America. He was elected President in late 1968 and assumed the office in January 1969. He resigned from office on August 9, 1974 under pressure from the Democratic Party over the Watergate Affair and its aftermath. He was born on January 9, 1913 and died April 22, 1994. He was also Vice President under Dwight David ("Ike") Eisenhower.
