Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States of America. Born Stephen Grover Cleveland on March 18, 1837, he was the first post-Civil War Democratic Party member elected President. He served from March 4, 1885 until March 4, 1889, but lost the 1888 election to Benjamin Harrison. Then he won the 1892 election and served again from March 4, 1893 until March 4, 1897.
